Finding Phoebe
Sometimes finding the lost cat is the easy part for a pet detective.
Once I found this missing calico cat, we had to then find the owner of the garage she was stuck in!
The police came and we got the info, only to find he was deployed out of the country and would not be back for months!
"Lost cat Phoebe found by pet detective. Freed by locksmith!"
Joann and her dogs had searched for missing cat Phoebe for days before calling me to come help.
A local radio station asked to tag along for a story they were creating for NPR, so we were able to catch some of the search on camera.
The three of us had been on the search for a few hours when Joanne and the journalist went back to her house to rehydrate. I went to my truck to get out the giant sound amplifier. Something told me to check the garage door of a neighbor who wasn't home on our first round.
When I put on the headphones and tapped at the door, guess what I heard?
